NRG Stadium, Houston, TX

The NRG Stadium is a multipurpose stadium located in Houston, Texas.   It is part of a collection of venues (including the Astrodome) which together are called NRG Park.  Completed in late 2001 and opened in 2002, it is now the home of NFL team Houston Texans, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Texas Bowl and many other events such as the US men’s national soccer matches.   It has also hosted Super Bowl in both 2004 and 2017 and WrestleMainia in 2009.   The stadium seating capacity is just shy of 72,000 and it boasts being the very 1st NFL stadium with a retractable roof.
