ROAD TECH 2000 Is a Natural Road and Field Stabilizer

ROAD TECH 2000 is an environmentally safe and responsible natural soil stabilizer for use in strengthening the sub-base of roads and sports fields, where a clay content is present. A natural microbial product, ROAD TECH 2000 requires the clay content to have a Plasticity Index of more than 6 in the road materials - to enable the stabilizing process to take place. ROAD TECH 2000 is a biodegradable liquid which reacts with clay particles to reduce their water retention ability. This process increases the compatibility of the clay/gravel composites, has no detrimental impact on the environment, and the natural balance of the soil is restored within approximately 90 days.

How It Works

ROAD TECH 2000 is based on a unique blend of naturally occurring microbes which treat the clay particles in the soil. The microbes produce a polymer (a natural 'glue') which effectively replaces the water between the clay particles thus significantly reducing the clay's ability to re-absorb moisture. The binding action reduces the air voids in the base materials allowing for greater compaction and also reduces the effect of water on both the road surface material and the base material.
