Installation
- TTII's rubber landscaping mulch can be installed directly over existing ground cover; however, we recommend removal of all existing surfaces such as:
- sod
- wood chips
- bark mulch
- gravel
- Installation of landscape fabric is recommended to prevent growth of weeds (& to reduce ongoing maintenance of the rubber-mulched area)
- Once the area is prepped, the rubber landscaping mulch can be installed to the recommended depth of 2 inches.
- The rubber mulch can then be raked into place, to create a smooth and even finished appearance.
- To finish, use a garden hose to wash the entire surface area. This creates a clean and dust-free environment.
