An Alliance Between TTII and Fairmount Minerals

Target Technologies International (TTII) and the Fairmont Minerals Corporation have been working together for many years, and our alliance continues to grow. We are now cooperatively launching and supplying a new unique product - FLEX SAND™. This newly developed product is intended for infill use in the synthetic sports field industry. The product consists of special graded silica sand coated with a proprietary rubber blend, and is developed in cooperation with Riso National Laboratory.

FLEX SAND™ is characterized by a smooth surface based on the shape of the grains and the special rubber blend, which gives a high level of flexibility. Another advantage is that it can be custom-coated in virtually any color that our customers may request.

Several sports functional tests have been performed at both ISA-Sports in The Netherlands and The Danish Technological Institute. Based on these tests, FLEX SAND™ achieved excellent results in various synthetic grass constructions.

Environmentally, FLEX SAND™ is totally free from any pollution from heavy metals. The rubber blend is UV-resistant and does not become hard or break down during the years of use. Other advantages include:
