John B. Giraud: Managing Director
With nearly 40 years in the sand and aggregates business, John is widely recognized as
the industry expert for sports field infill sands. As a former co-owner of the Target Group of Companies (now members of the QUIKRETE® Group) John travelled the world buying and selling quality sand products. Along the way he became involved in the rapidly growing second-generation synthetic turf wave, as it swept across North America and Europe. John was instrumental in the development of the original (& still most widely used) silica sand infill spec for artificial turf. In 2002 he established Target Technologies and, over the years, grew the company to be the leader in synthetic turf infill products. John was elected Chairman of the Board of the Synthetic Turf Council in 2010, and re-elected for a second term in 2011.
Lew Shrubsole: Manager – Supply & Logistics
manufacturing. As a senior manager & materials/organizational specialist, Lew’s primary focus has been the development of the company’s operations processes, as well as systems implementation and vendor management. He also manages the day-to-day operations at TTII. During his tenure Lew has travelled extensively across North America, ensuring that TTII buys and distributes products from only the most quality-conscious suppliers. He co-represents the company at the semi-annual Synthetic Turf Council meetings and other industry events. Lew is a certified professional supply manager, with accreditation in both the U.S.A. and Canada. He has authored a number of articles published in industry periodicals and magazines.
Susanna Jung: Manager – Sands & Aggregates
extensive knowledge of the sand infill business and the synthetic turf industry in general. With contacts throughout the marketplace, she has a unique ability to source material for her clients’ needs – no matter what the circumstances. Susanna is an original TTII employee, having transferred to the company from the Target Group in 2001. The wealth of experience she gained through her previous tenure in the freight industry has served her and her TTII clients well over the years.Nadia Minato: Manager – Sustainable Products
Nadia’s high-quality client service is well-known & respected in the synthetic turf
industry. After many years managing TTII’s former crumb rubber sales department, she has now risen to the challenge as leader of the company’s new and progressive “sustainable products” division. With a wealth of knowledge in both the synthetic turf and freight industries, in North America, Nadia and her team are well versed in the logistics of moving quality products on-time and on-budget.
