Ambient SBR crumb rubber is one of the two categories of recycled in-fill crumb rubber, used in residential infill market. Target Technologies International (TTII) is affiliated with many ambient SBR crumb rubber suppliers throughout North America. We are proud of this association - and more specifically the fact that the recycling of many thousands of passenger and truck tires annually avoids their subsequent dumping into landfill sites. With ambient SBR crumb rubber, the feedstock is derived from either passenger tires, truck tires, or a combination of both. Processing is then done at room or ambient temperature. Tires are first shredded into various size pieces, while being liberated of steel and fiber. Crumb rubber granules are then created by use of either granulators or cracker mills. For TTII, either process produces high quality recycled rubber granules, which are then screened for appropriate sizing and then bagged. Product is shipped in super-sacks on pallets, usually double strapped for secure shipping. Target Technologies' ambient and cryogenic grind processes both produce high quality, ready-to-use crumb rubber for your synthetic turf sports field (cryogenic only) or residential installation.
